"Dreaming of Arches National Park" tells the story of Cayenne the Coyote, who does not want to go to sleep. But when she does doze off, she dreams of magical arches that lead her back in time. Cayenne goes on several journeys and sees dinosaurs, sabre-toothed cats, Native Americans, and early settlers. Each of Cayenne’s adventures is based on real events that occurred in and around Arches National Park - except for the one that occurred on planet Zorbos!

Includes a "Did you know?" section at the end of the book that includes more details on the history of each place Cayenne visited.

About the Author / Illustrator:

Grant Collier has been working as a photographer and writer since 1996 and is the author of 14 books. He has traveled to 17 different countries to capture his images, but his most difficult trip was a 500 trillion mile journey to Planet Zorbos. You can view his photography at: gcollier.com.

Like Cayenne, Stephanie Lowman enjoys traveling to new and exciting places, whether in real life or her imagination. She currently lives in Arvada, Colorado with her children, Osiris the Dog and Cassidy the Cat. She is also the illustrator of the book "Dreaming of Colorado."
